This Syrup is equal parts pure cane sugar and demerara cane sugar that has been aged in our Koenig private select barrel from 2023. We aged the syrup for 3 months to bring out the warming spices from the whiskey, with hints of stone fruit and chocolate. We couldn't be happier with the end result. We didn't stop there, we added bitters and spices to the syrup to bring you an all in one old fashioned syrup. Simply add as much or as little to your whiskey and enjoy some instant gratification.
This Syrup in packaged in an 8oz. bottle and is a limited run. We made roughly 800 bottles total.
But don't worry, we'll make another round of barrel aged syrup with the next barrel of whiskey we buy, it just might taste different.
